Your lists sync through your own iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit. There is no service of ours in the middle.
So how is it free?
Rapid List has no servers to run, no analytics to process and no ads to sell. Your lists live in your iCloud, not ours. There is very little for it to cost.
